Message from Tla’amin Executive Council and Health Director

Gentle Reminders for our Community

(April 11, 2021)

Today, the Tla’amin Nation has had no new active cases of Covid 19 since our previous update. Our lab-confirmed cases remain at 5.

The Child Development Resource Centre (Daycare) will be open tomorrow, Monday, April 12th for parent(s) that require childcare to perform essential duties related to employment. The other consideration includes supporting those studying or completing practicums. Pre-school reopens Tuesday, April 13th.

Daycare and pre-school managers will reach out to you to confirm your child’s attendance which, again, is going to be based on your needs on a case-by-case basis. Our facilities have been Covid 19 screened for the safety of our students and educators.

As Tla’amin students return to class, we would like to remind parents that the School District is following the Provincial Public Health Restrictions to keep our children safe in and outside the classroom. We encourage our students to keep up the good work.

A big thank you to everyone cooperating with the curfew order (8:00 pm – 8:00 am) as we all work together to contain the spread of Covid-19.
