Message from Tla’amin Executive Council and Health Director
New Curfew Hours in Effect Immediately
(April 13, 2021)
The Tla’amin Nation reports no new active cases of Covid 19 in the past four days. Our lab-confirmed cases remain at 5.
“Tla’amin Nation is trending in a good direction” explained Hegus John Hackett. “Our goal is to support the needs across the community and, more specifically, anyone that has either tested positive or those that have been instructed to self-isolate. Today, our curfew has been shortened to provide our community extra time to enjoy the weather outdoors or purchase essentials in town. The curfew will now be in effect from 9:00 pm – 6:00 am for those that have not tested positive or are under isolation orders.”
Executive Council and Health raise their hands to everyone cooperating with the Provincial Health Orders to stop the spread of Covid-19. Please be kind to one another, be patient and supportive as it will help get all of us back to a healthy normal.
The community remains closed to visitors. The exception of couriers, mail, designated contactors for home repairs, and food deliveries from grocery stores or restaurants.
Please continue to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms if you have been instructed to do so. If you, or anyone you know are experiencing Covid symptoms such as fever, cough, fatigue, muscle pain, lack of appetite, loss of sense of taste or smell – you need to be tested! You can be tested in two locations:
