Message from Tla’amin Executive Council and Health Director

Tla’amin Nation reports that our one (1) remaining active case in community will be cleared tonight at midnight.

Please be kind to one another and remain vigilant as we continue to safeguard our nation from this third wave of Covid-19. Continue to practice physical distancing while you are outside, wear your mask, and continue to remain within your household bubble of family your reside with. Don’t forget to wash your hands frequently.

Tla’amin Health Home Care Support and Winmar Property Restorations
Executive Council is relieved to announce that the Tla’amin Health home care staff will resume their services for their regular clients. You will be contacted for your house visit with protocol safety instructions before entering the premises.

Home renovations will also resume shortly by Winmar Property Restoration. You will be notified prior to entering your premises. Only if possible, please make safe arrangements to vacate for the day with family members within your social bubble. Otherwise, remain in a separate room for the duration of the time that the workers are in your home. Winmar will practice Covid safety protocols while on-site.

• The curfew is still in effect from 9:00 pm – 6:00 am. Only people that need to go to work, or obtain medical attention or related supplies will be permitted to leave their property during these hours.

Please continue to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms if you have been instructed to do so. If you, or anyone you know, is experiencing Covid symptoms such as fever, cough, fatigue, muscle pain, lack of appetite, loss of sense of taste or smell – you need to be tested!
