Tla’amin Recreation has released the Fall 2026 Community Program Guide, covering sport, recreation, and education programs and services running September through December.

Tla’amin Citizen registration is now open with priority registration until 72 hours before each program starts. Tla’amin Leaseholders can register 72 hours prior to a program’s start if space is available. To sign up, visit tlaamin.perfectmind.com and follow the five-step account setup process, or contact the Recreation team at rec@tn-bc.ca, 1-877-505-5139, or in person at ʔayɩštən ʔaye – Cousin’s House.

Program highlights this fall include:

  • Drop-In Programs – Youth Nights (ages 13–18), Drop-In Adult Soccer, and ʔayɩštən ʔaye Family Drop-In for all ages
  • After School Programs – Licensed Afterschool Care, the School’s Out Leadership Program, and Pro-D Day camps for youth
  • Sports – Otago Rugby čičuy and Adult Try It Days on September 12
  • Swim Lessons – Swimmer 1 and Swimmer 3 sessions at the Powell River Recreation Complex, with transportation provided
  • Fitness & Wellness – Chair Yoga, Pilates Fusion, Functional Circuit Training, the Elders Strengthening Program, Spin & Strength, and free Weight Room memberships for all Tla’amin Citizens
  • General Interest & Certifications – Future Leaders (ages 15–25) and Youth Council (ages 13–30)
  • Recreation Reimbursement Program (Čɛ̓čɛ̓gatštəm ʔəms čičuy) – up to $300/year for ages 0–6 and up to $1,000/year for ages 7–18 toward recreational programs outside of Tla’amin’s own offerings

The guide also includes registration details for the 2026 Fall General Assembly (October 22 & 23 at tišosəm), back-to-school supply allowance information, and details on the ʔəms nəm wellness app.
