This permanent full-time position acts as a support to the Housing Manager to ensure that housing operations are timely and efficient.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Administers housing policy
• Supports house-related requests and needs from community
• Ensures document and record management, inputting all relevant housing documents into software and appropriate files
• Effectively uses Xyntax software management for housing-related files. Must be willing to learn Xyntax Program
• Assist with rental collection duties
• Prepare housing notices and correspondence to Nation tenants
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Minimum Grade 12
• Solid knowledge of First Nations Housing
• Knowledge of Xyntax software an asset (or willingness to learn)
• Computer proficiency in Excel and Word applications
• Possesses valid BCDL and driver’s abstract acceptable to the administration
• Proven experience in client service
• Pleasant interpersonal and communication skills. Finds ways to communicate difficult messages to clients
• Conflict Resolution skills- must be able to deal with volatile situations without being triggered
• Strict adherence to confidentiality
• Criminal record check must be submitted and acceptable to administration
