Home > COVID-19 > OFFICE CLOSURE

September 3, 2020

Tla’amin Members/Citizens:

Executive Council has decided to close the government office to the public which also prohibits the use of Nation buildings (includes Salish Centre).   This decision was made in light of the active COVID-19 cases in the province being at an all-time high and climbing.  In addition, there has been potential exposure in Sechelt and the Comox areas, which are closer to the Powell River area.

Staff will continue with their current work schedules; however, the office will be closed to the public until further notice as of Thursday, September 3 @ 3 pm.

The Health Centre including daycare program will remain status quo and continue to operate under its current restrictions.  Please call the clinic / daycare directly for information.

Services/programs (such as Soup Kitchen and Good Food Box) etc. will be reviewed. If you have any questions, pls. contact Acting CAO Steve Hunter at steve.hunter@tn-bc.ca and next week, Rod Allan, CAO at rod.allan@tn-bc.ca  or 604-483-9646.
