Youth Nights: Bear Awareness & Community Garden Conversations
Friday September 18th at the Education Portable (6683 Tla’amin Road)
All Tla’amin youth aged 13-18 welcome!
6pm: Bear awareness with conservation scientist Lauren Eckert (learn more about Lauren at https://laureneckertconservation.com/)
7-8:30pm: Conversation about how we want the revitalized Ahms Tah Ow community garden to be, facilitated by Blueberry Commons farmer Ron Berezan (learn more about Blueberry Commons at https://www.blueberrycommons.ca/)
There will be pizza, salad, and drinks for dinner.
Dress for the weather so we can go outside and check out the community garden space.
