TLA’AMIN TERRITORY, BC, September 2026 — Tla’amin Nation has launched a new website designed to make government information, programs and services more accessible to citizens living in Tla’amin territory and away from home.
Developed in partnership with Campbell River-based agency Boleyn Media Group, the new website has created a comprehensive digital space where citizens can learn about their government and access services, regardless of where they live. The site refresh includes an additional 90 pages of static content.
It also serves as a trusted public source of information about Tla’amin Nation, allowing the Nation to share its work, identity and approach to self-governance clearly and directly with citizens and the broader public. By bringing government information into one accessible digital space, the website strengthens communication, transparency and Tla’amin’s ability to tell its own story.
“For many, a website is the first destination to learn and understand more about our Nation, and getting that right matters a lot to us,” said Tla’amin Councillor Losa Luaifoa, who holds the portfolio for Tla’amin government services. “This digital re-introduction will serve our people, the broader community and the Nation well for many years to come.”
The project was built to meet the needs of Tla’amin citizens. Improved navigation, search and mobile functionality help people find information more easily. New features include health appointment bookings, a community programs calendar, a comprehensive laws and regulations library, descriptions of Tla’amin committees, citizenship application processes, and a new compliments and complaints section to receive feedback from citizens.
The digital experience also reflects Tla’amin identity, teachings and language, with the ʔayʔaǰuθəm language thoughtfully integrated throughout the website.
