
t̓išosəm (tishosum) – On 2021-JULY-12 at approximately 9:30AM the Coastal Fire Centre informed the Tla’amin Nation Fire Department that the wild fire in the territory is now out and no longer active.
“Even though the fire is out, I’d like to remind everyone to be careful when they’re out on the territory. Everyone can help keep the Nation safe, so please be on the look out for any sign of smoke or fire when you’re out and about, and obey the provincial fire ban” said Fire Chief Byron Harry.
We want to remind all Nation members that if they see a wildfire on the territory, you can call *5555 on your cell phone, or 1-800-663-5555 from any phone.
If you see a fire in the village, please call 9-1-1.
