Tla’amin Nation (TN) has initiated a Winter Yardworks program. We are seeking 4 employees to
perform extensive yard works across the community.

This role includes, but is not limited to:
 Safe use of power tools and hand tools
 Wildfire fuel reduction
 Maintenance outside of community buildings and homes
 Support Public Works staff in grass cutting and other village maintenance duties
 Woodcutting
 Ditch and drainage path clearing
 Landscaping
 Maintenance of Tla’amin Lands in remote locations
 Clearing access trails and hiking paths

Qualifications (not required, but preferred):
 Experience with any of the above activities
 Self-motivated
 Able to work alone or with minimal supervision
 Reliable attendance and acceptance of shifts when offered
 Offering superior customer service skills and professionalism with clients/community
members
 Able to lift 40lbs
 A Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Record Check that are acceptable to Tla’amin
 Chainsaw Safety Certification

Working Conditions:
 This is a physical, laborious position. Employees will be moving and standing majority of
the work day.
 Employees will be working outdoors in winter weather conditions.
